The Daily Suprobhat Bangladesh, a Chittagong based daily reports in its internet edition today that the PCJSS office at Rajasthali was destroyed on Saturday last by miscreants. The PCJSS has accused the UPDF for the act. However, the UPDF denied their involvement with this occurrence.
Eyewitness report claims, soon after quitting the Rajasthali area by the PCJSS activists, after a suffering of 2 dead and 2 injured by the UPDF the PCJSS office came under destruction by a group of armed youths on last Saturday. Sajib Chakma, Assistant Secretary, Information and Publicity, PCJSS claims that the signboard and furniture of the office have been destroyed. The Officer-in-charge of Rajasthali Police Station confirms that the destruction of the PCJSS office took place when it was vacated by the PCJSS. He told that they were inquiring who were involved with the incident.
Michael Chakma, Member-Secretary of the Democratic Youth Forum of the UPDF says, "UPDF is not involved in such an occurrence. This might have been done by angry masses as their outburst of anger to denounce the tyranny of PCJSS men during their short stay in the area."
