Background: The present central committee was elected on 11 July 2013, on the 2nd day of the 3-day long 10th PCJSS national conference. The earlier committee (convening committee) was formed on 10th April 2010 when Mr. Santu Larma convened the 9th national conference (29-31 March 2010) in sheer violation of the party constitution and excluded a few hundred veteran leaders and members and also "formally" expelled 7 top veteran leaders (Chandra Sekhar Chakma, Sudhasindhu Khisa, Rupayan Dewan, Tatindra Lal Chakma, Eng. Mrinal Kanti Tripura, Advocate Shaktiman Chakma and Binoy Krishna Khisa) and also declared their capital punishment. The present leadership is determined to democratise the JSS under a collective leadership.

PCJSS exchanges views with the Headmen Association

Mr. Suihlaprue  Chowdhury, Headman, Pujgang Mouza and also the vice president of the Khagarachari District Headmen Association gives his opinion in the meeting.

On the 15th October 2013, PCJSS held a view exchange meeting with the Khagarachari District Headmen Association's district committee at Waves restaurant at Khagrachari district town. The president Mr. Sudhasindhu Khisa and the general secretary Mr. Tatindra Lal Chakma of the PCJSS were present there. 

The Headmen Association district committee composes of 21 headmen of 120-strong headmen association and 23 headmen participated in the said meeting. The main purpose of the meeting was to exchange views on the overall situation of CHT and specifically to gather opinion  from them. Headmen from Dighinala, Panchari, Matiranga, Mahalchari and Khagrachari upzila attended to this meeting. Mr. Shaktipada Tripura, president of the association lives in Dhaka and does not prefer to visit Khagarachari because of political rivalry,  as he is the organising secretary of the Santu Larma-led PCJSS.                                                                                 

In the beginning, Mr. Sudhasindhu Khisa gave an overview of the situation followed by opinion providing by several headmen. Mr. Tatindra Lal Chakma alias Major Pele also spoke to response the headmen's questions.  The meeting was followed by a lunch.

Ms. Aneu Chowdhury Nayan, Headman, No. 196, Matiranga Mouza also participated in the meeting.
